Where is your basecamp located?

We are located in the “Centre Block” of the Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park, just off of highway #21 on the Saskatchewan-side of the park, right beside the Resort at Cypress Hills. We recommend searching for “Cypress Hills Eco-Adventures” on Google Maps prior to setting out to find us!

What is your operating season?

May 16th until September 20th – September by reservation only.

What are your hours of operation?

Our basecamp is open from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Tues – Sun) and 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (Mon) from the start of May Long Weekend to end of September Long Weekend. During this period we operate up to 10 zip line canopy tours daily (9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am, 10:30am, 12:00pm, 12:30pm, 1:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm, & 3:30pm) depending on demand.

Our basecamp activities (climbing wall, treetop adventure park, treetop drop, mini-zips for kids, and slackline park) are available from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM daily.

Advanced booking for the zip line canopy tour and treetop adventure park is recommended.

NOTE: We are also open during September; however, our activities are available by reservation ONLY after September long weekend has passed. During this time of the season, the number of zip line canopy tours that we run daily may be reduced and other activities such as the climbing wall, treetop adventure park, and treetop drop may be closed depending on staffing ability due to the large majority of our staff members being university students. Please check online for tour availability and call ahead with regards to basecamp activities during this time.

How long is your zip line?

We do not offer single zip line rides; our experiences are actually guided tours (two hours in duration) which incorporate multiple zip lines, platforms, ladders, stairs, and bridges.

At Cypress Hills Eco-Adventures, the zip line canopy tour consists of SIX zip lines that vary in length from 100 feet to 600 feet. In addition to the six zip lines, you will also experience an 80 foot long sky bridge, three brief nature hikes and several exciting transitions from zip line platform to zip line platform, all while harnessed up and forty feet off the ground!

Our tours are roughly TWO HOURS in duration and you are accompanied by two of our trained zip line guides!

How far in advance do I need to reserve my zip line canopy tour?

You can book as far in advance as you wish if you know the date and time you wish to go!

Normally, we book up one to two days in advance of departure. However, there are some popular weekends during the summer which can be completely booked up to two weeks in advance.

The moral of the story: advanced booking is recommended, so please check availability online prior to making a day trip.
